I lived in Southeast Alaska for sixty years, fishing in the gulf for salmon and halibut. It was a tough way to make a living back then, it was one hand for yourself, and one hand for the boat. What I saw and experienced fifty years ago is gone. The sea lions dolphins, whales and birds seem now hard to find. The pictures of the wilderness have not changed. In viewing my work I hope you find some insight into nature, and the laws it will not define. There are no greater wonders than the envelope of the evening sky, or your wife's mood when you come home late.
