I've always liked taking photos ever since I got my very first camera, an Instamatic in the 1960s. Over the years I've used all sorts of cameras including a MotorMarine II for underwater photos.

I've used a Nikon D3100 with the kit lens and I also have a Tamron AF70-300 and 40mm Nikon macro lens.

Latest camera is a Nikon D600 with a 24- 85 lens. The Tamron lens works fine with this camera too

I sometimes use the macro lens with it even if it's not for the full frame camera.

I enjoy challenges and did a 365 one year. I also did 365 in colour for three years.

I like getting comments on my photos, and try to comment back. I've also tried to limit the number of contacts in my contact list so that I am able to comment on their photos and I see that they are people who comment on my photos with some regularity.
