Charlotte is one of the most beautiful people I know. The first thing that struck me about Charlotte was the warmth, genuine-ness and effort that is put into her comments on my, and other people's photos. She is one of those people that make an online community like Flickr worth being part of. Of course, her photography is superb, and she has such a wide range of abilities from landscape, to floral, to macro, to multiple exposures and other creative techniques, and wonderful compositing skills as well. Charlotte is a constant source of both joy and inspiration. Charlotte you are truly amazing, I hope you know that!

There is a lot to brag about here: Thoughtful composition, perfect and natural light, good balance, beautiful lines, nice contrasts, depth that draws you into many of the images, use of complementary colors and beauty. I have not taken the effort to write a testimonial before, but I do so now because happy thoughts are what are needed in times like we are in now. Charlotte lives in one of the most beautiful regions of the world; that is a bonus for any artist but that said, there is a magical touch to her work. Magic may not be the appropriate description of Charlotte's work/art - her talent is obvious but it is also apparent that this talented lady puts a lot of effort into her work/art. It seems that Charlotte is constantly experimenting; on the prowl for a new outlet for her talent. Charlotte's work is fresh, colourful and exciting. I could get into the basics like pov, composition and such, but that's boring and Charlotte has that covered - it's her artistic touch (call it magic) that makes her images stand out. It also seems to me that Charlotte has a sincere interest in the Flickr community and enjoys the communication that brings. Charlotte - keep rocking.

I was first "introduced" to Charlotte by another Flickr member I was following. I was intrigued by her beautiful and eloquent comments she left on their photostream. I just had to check out her work and immediately became a fan. Her images are creative, artful, soulful and magical. I think of her as someone, who in her creative mind, lives in a dreamy and magical world with the most glorious light where she allows us to visit and take in the beauty. Our images say so much about our soul and although I do not know Charlotte I am sure is a a very special person.

It was Charlotte's writing that I read on other people's images that attracted me to check who is the photographer behind such honest words. Once I saw her photostream, as you can imagine, I wanted to stay. It is not only her floral photography that is outstanding, but she also captures scenes from places I'd like to visit one day, and her nature photography is sublime. But, don't take my word for it, have a look yourself at her photostream. I'm sure you will spend there a very long time exactly like I did when I first encoutered it. It is not just Charlott'es photography or her eloquent writing that has made her one of my most favourite photographers here or elsewhere. She is one of the kindest, loveliest, most genuine people I had the honour to meet here. True, we have never 'properly' met, but when we do I bet it will be a sheer pleasure to chat, photograph (well, of course!), and have many giggles together. Ansel Adams expressed far better than I ever could what I would like to say about Charlotte's photography: "We don't make a photograph with just a camera. We bring to the act of photography all the books we have read, the movies we have seen, the music we have heard and the people we have loved." So, continue clicking, continue exploring and continue sharing with us your love for nature and all its creatures.
