Hi-My name is Marcos. I was born and raised here in NYC, also known as the Big Apple, AND I love and enjoy taking pictures. I joined Flickr family in 2013. One day I downloaded the app and began looking through some photos. I was quite fascinated by many of the beautiful photos I saw, favoriting and leaving comments on them. I don't know exactly when I started posting my own photos,but I think I did it out of curiosity just to see what feedback I'd get. I had a very slow start as far as views and followings were concerned, but as time went by those began to accumulate which I was happy about. My photos are solely taken with a smartphone with Samsung Galaxy as my brand of choice. The picture quality on the Galaxy is so much better than the other brands, including the iPhone, imo. Many of my photos are taken in NYC usually of city streetscapes and architecture,although lately I've been posting museum artwork which I also love. I try to show a lot of detail in my photos,esp decorative detail in buildings because people tend to miss or overlook them. I also like showing video clips because I want the viewer to experience and enjoy the city I so love. Thank you for your wonderful support,and enjoy the pics :-)
