Toronto Focused Themes - Suggestions Welcome!

We've had a suggestion from M. D'Amico that they would, "prefer seeing weekly themes more to suited to issues and topics affecting Torontonians than those otherwise generic in nature."

Angie McKaig followed it up by saying, "I'd like to see more "Toronto-themed" themes as well. Like:* transit (OK, we've already had that one, but still...)* public spaces* parks* nightlife* the arts* city creatures (animals you usually see in the city...)* tourist in the city (tourist attractions)* great eats (food photography, menus, restaurant fronts)* farmer's marketsYou get the idea..."

I love the suggestion! It's too late to change the "sky" theme now, but moving forward, at least for the next few weeks, we'll do our best to give you Toronto focused themes.

If you've got any suggestions, I'd love to hear them :)

So far we have:
public spaces
parks
nightlife
the arts
city creatures (we did pets not too long ago, so this might have to wait a bit)
tourist in the city (tourist attractions)
great eats (food photography, menus, restaurant fronts)
farmer's markets

Public events of that week? I know this tends to get covered anyway; I expect to be swamped in Luminato shots; but since we're out there shooting these things anyway...

Thinking about Lu's comment about Tourists; how about Toronto Photographers? Love those meta shots :)

Also, each week, feature pics from a different region of Toronto. ie. the former Etobicoke, North York etc.

Seems a little too "downtown" oriented. Toronto expanded over 10 years ago but seem to have forgotten about it...lol!

Also, some streets that go city wide could be featured such as the length of Lakeshore, Dundas, Bloor etc.

Park specific themes could be an idea too!
