Hi blogTO Flickr poolers,

Starting this Friday, we'll be changing things up a little. Each Friday we'll feature images that fit a theme, and at the same time announce the theme for the following week.

It's our way of keeping things fresh. Hopefully when you're out with your camera, you'll have our theme in mind, and have cool photos to submit.

This doesn't mean that you shouldn't continue to upload your awesome Toronto photos that aren't within the Flickr Forum theme - it just means that you'll always have a fun, topical goal or interesting challenge to partake in every week on blogTO.

Cheers,
Jerrold

Cool idea. I've seen this work really well in another group, should be interesting to see a Toronto take on it.

Upcoming theme:

On Friday October 19th: we'll be featuring images that fit the theme "ORANGE" - think leaves, pumpkins, rust, or think completely outside of the box! :)

Great idea.
Should there be a special tag included with the submissions?

Special tagging isn't necessary, but if you enter the theme as a tag it might help :)

We'll still be looking at all submissions in the pool!

Can we use old photos, or they have to be taken after the challenge was announced.

We can use old photos, but we're hoping that pool members feel inspired to treat the blogTO Flickr Forum themes are a weekly challenge as well. Fresh is great!
