What town was this taken in? I'm sorry that this happened to you. I saw your blog and it has beautiful pictures there. it's sad to see so many people homeless, especially in Arizona where the temperatures are extremely high. I moved from (expensive) Connecticut to Arizona (cheaper) in July of this year.

I have noticed around this country that the homeless tend to be Drug & Alcohol abusers and the Mentally Ill. I know that in Connecticut, upon closing mental hospitals, the patients ended up in Hartford Corrections or on the street. It was all in an attempt to save money at the expense of the sick. (This was in the 1990s. I was a corrections officer for 22 years so have an insiders view of things.) Now having mental illness is big business in the prisons. The medication lines are so long, and they have officers who were thrusted into situations where they have to watch the extremely mentally ill, and it's very dangerous in the prisons, especially Garner CI in Connecticut. Connecticut is a very rich state, there is so much money flowing through the state, but only the rich seem to be living a good life. I had to leave. I couldn't afford it anymore. My whole life was as a blue collar worker barely making it there. Something is definitely wrong with that. Nowadays, more and more people are out of work, and it's become an epidemic. We haven't seen the end, and the 1% Rich have 47% of the wealth. (It used to be 2% Rich having 13%). There is a scary shift going on.

i know where the vehicle is that the robbers left in. it is sitting in an apartment complex in west phoenix.
the weapon they used was jammed between the rear bumper and the body of the vehicle.
the police took photos then confiscated it.
the owner of the vehicle does not answer the door of the apartment.
if they do not answer, the police will not move forward.
the vehicle does not appear to have been moved in weeks. i wonder if the owner is still alive?
