There are the people who make movies and there are the those who see them. FirstShowing brings these two perspectives together with an authentic edge that will change the way you experience movies. We provide for free to anyone with internet access: the latest movie trailers, movie reviews, interviews, opinions, updates, and everything else related to the cinematic experience straight from Hollywood and beyond. We launched this blog in the summer of 2006 while camping out at a movie theater waiting for Superman Returns.

FirstShowing is a professional web-based destination providing complete media coverage of mainstream and independent movies, the latest on the moviegoing experience, and the connection between Hollywood and the audience. We only cover theatrically released films, and updates from film festivals all over the world. FirstShowing is at its heart a platform of honest, meaningful expression for individuals who are above all dedicated and passionate about cinema and the incomparable big screen movie theater experience.
