For easy transit, escalators and lifts have been installed by NCRTC, prioritising convenience and accessibility for passengers.

Bridges over Ghazipur drain

These newly constructed bridges over the Ghazipur drain are crucial for connecting the station to the main road. The finishing work includes building side walls and preparing for carpeting, officials said.

All these bridges have a specific purpose. One of them is meant for entry of vehicles, another is meant for exit. The third is meant for pedestrians. Their dimensions are – 10 metres wide, 28 metres long, 13 metres wide, 28 metres long, 5 metres wide, 25 metres long, respectively.

Designed to provide seamless connectivity, the Anand Vihar RRTS station aligns with the multimodal integration plan, ensuring a superior travel experience for all passengers, including the elderly, women, and children.

Once operational, passengers will be able to move effortlessly between the metro station, Anand Vihar Railway Station, Anand Vihar ISBT, Kaushambi bus terminal, and the DTC intra-state bus terminal, according to officials.

Officials also stated that the underground Anand Vihar RRTS station, measuring 297 meters in length and 35 meters in width, has been completed with significant engineering expertise despite construction challenges.
