Great matchup for a really great pitcher. Eovaldi is coming off of his best start of the season which saw him hold down the San Diego Padres to just one hit over seven innings while striking out six.

Today he faces a Tampa Bay Rays offense that ranks in the bottom 10 in nearly all offensive categories against right-handed pitching this season

The Rangers are big favorites here today which should put Eovaldi in line to collect those much needed win points here today.

Grayson Rodriguez Sleeper MLB Pick: More Than 6.5 Strikeouts

Rodriguez has a K/9 of 9.85 on the year with a 26.2% strikeout rate.

Today he draws a matchup against an Oakland A’s team that has the second-highest strikeout rate in baseball against right-handed pitching this season.

Rodriguez has finished with at least seven strikeouts in eight of his 15 starts this season and given the opponent, he should have much higher strikeout ceiling here today.
