We’ve been done in by Mikolas before but I’m loving this spot for the Washington Nationals offense here today against the Cardinals righty. On the season, Mikolas has a 5.19 ERA with a 6.44 K/9. 

Left-handed hitters have given Mikolas some trouble this season and the top hitters in the Nationals lineup will be coming at him from the left-side of the plate here today. The Nationals are a pesky group that rank 10th in wOBA and 8th in batting average with just an 18.2% strikeout rate against right-handed pitching over the last month.
