About Our Guest Speaker, Louis DeLorio, President of Vista Aircraft Maintenance:
Louis DeLorio brings 29 years of aviation experience to the table, backed by an FAA Airframe & Powerplant license and Inspection Authorization. In 1997, Louis started his journey at Hawker Beechcraft in Van Nuys as an entry-level technician, steadily climbing the ranks to Lead Technician, AOG Technician, Inspector, and eventually, Service Manager.
Throughout his career, Louis provided consulting services to repair stations and 135 operators, focusing on process improvement, aircraft conformities, creation of FAA manuals, and obtaining FAA certifications. His expertise led him to hold key positions such as Director of Operations at SoCal Jets, Maintenance Manager at Ameriflight, and Quality Manager at Zodiac Aerospace before joining Jet Edge International in 2015.
At Jetworx, the 145 for Jet Edge International, Louis played a pivotal role in the company's growth from 35 aircraft and 15 employees in 2015 to over 100 aircraft by 2022 when Vista acquired the company. Now operating as Vista Aircraft Maintenance with over 360 aircraft worldwide, Louis oversees a team of over 75+ employees in Van Nuys.
