About this event

Drill Events is an QTBIPOC led electronic party series and collective in so called ‘Vancouver.’ Focusing on representing diverse line-ups and musical genres in Vancouver’s underground scene. For their VMF curation, they are changing things up from their regular programming, with a focus on music that is on the groovier/softer side — such as house, UK Garage, and disco-esque tunes. They are so excited to showcase Lia Plutonic from MTL supported by an all star local line up. The evening will also feature gogos & visuals from Saghiaa - grab a ticket this is a night from DRILL you don't want to miss!

PARTY PROTOCOL

Everyone is welcome here, regardless of who you are, whom you love, or how you identify. We do not tolerate oppression, judgment, or harassment of any kind. Please be aware of the vibes you bring to this event. While enjoying yourself, please drink responsibly, ensure consent, and respect personal boundaries.

HARM REDUCTION BUDDY SYSTEM

The Buddy System is a grassroots effort to combat rape culture, provide harm reduction, and enhance the safety of dance parties and events. Buddies will be wearing neon shirts and are NARCAN trained. They are carrying sealed water bottles, condoms, lube, granola bars, tampons, and more. They will run interference if someone is receiving unwanted attention, can help folks in need to find a way home, and generally serve as go-to support people should any problems arise.

We acknowledge that this event takes place on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territories of the Coast Salish peoples – the sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), sel̓íl̓witulh (Tsleil-Waututh), and xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam) nations. We ask that you take a moment to consider the history of the land that we gather on, your relations with local Indigenous people and what each of us can do to foster meaningful reconciliation now and into the future.
