It has been widely reported that we're currently witnessing 'the death of trainers'. Some people – namely, the self-proclaimed trend forecasters that have spotted a single pair of #gifted penny loafers in the rotations of the Gen-Z #menswear TikTokkers – say you should be trading in all your sneaks for formal footwear options.

Please refrain from doing that because, truly, trainers aren't going anywhere.

But that's not to say you shouldn't smarten up the casual options on your shoe rack. In fact, it's something we actively encourage.
