When it comes to Americana, the Japanese might just be better than the Stateside folks who invented the genre. In cities like Tokyo and beyond, a core group of men celebrates mid-century U.S. style in a look called American Traditional (or Ame-Tra). It's all about Ivy style, a little workwear, and a whole lot of historical reinterpretation. Oh yeah, and it looks really damn cool.
