Support Groups
Enlace offers several support groups for current clients—to help build a supportive social network.
For information about support groups available to prospective clients or the public, please refer to our Prevention Classes.
Women’s Support Group
Enlace provides our Women’s Support Group for clients every Wednesday and Thursday from 4:00pm to 5:30pm. This support group is facilitated in Spanish by one of our counselors. During this support group, we also provide our Children’s Life Skills Group (below).
Children’s Life Skills Group
During Enlace’s Women’s Support Group (above), Enlace’s Life Skills Coordinator facilitates a children’s life skills group. Group topics include:
- Emotion recognition;
- Anger regulation; and
- Good touch/bad touch recognition

Jovencit@s
Jovencit@s is an ongoing support group for teenagers (ages 12-17) that provides a safe space for teen clients who have been witnesses or survivors of domestic violence (DV).
Group discussion topics include:
- Dating
- Decision making
- Healthy relationships
- Types of abuse
- Gender equity
- Emotional intelligence and health
- Intra-family violence
- Self-care

Case Management
Our team of case managers is ready to provide clients with one-on-one support.
Counseling
We value partnering with clients to provide life-enhancing counseling services that help support clients as they process trauma and manage their emotional, mental, and physical well-being.
Legal Services
Our legal team informs clients of their legal rights and can represent clients in civil legal proceedings, and/or provide clients with pro se assistance.
Housing Assistance
Our housing specialists work with clients to assess immediate housing needs and can help source available transitional housing and/or connect clients with potential housing options.
Financial Capability Training and Education
Almost every DV situation involves financial abuse. Enlace works with clients to provide them with one-on-one training and resources to enhance their financial acumen so that they are better positioned to build a strong financial base for their future.
