CO2 - emissions

Efficiency improvements and high shares of renewable energy contribute to decoupling economic growth from CO2 emissions. Germany’s CO2 emissions are higher than those of Türkiye and are declining, while Türkiye’s emissions are lower but are increasing with its economic development. The energy transition provides an opportunity for sustained economic growth without further increases in carbon emissions.

What We Can Do For You

Support Political Dialogue

The German-Turkish Energy Partnership supports high-level intergovernmental dialogue on energy matters. We prepare and facilitate high-level meetings. We organise exchanges between institutions in Germany and Türkiye.

Promote the Exchange of Best Practices

Learning from one another is key in the German-Turkish Energy Partnership. We arrange and accompany expert delegations. We organise workshops and on-the-job training – all for the sake of promoting what is already there: best practices.
