Geoffrey, Jean-Nicolas, French organist and composer; b. place and date unknown; d. Perpignan, March 11, 1694. After holding various positions as an organist in Paris until 1690, he became organist at Perpignan Cathedral in 1692. His vast collection of harpsichord works reveals a composer of decided talent.
