Starting off with Longchamp’s latest art-inspired collection, Helena Christensen’s new assortment for Hunza G, and a timely exhibition at The Jewish Museum honoring Chloé’s founder Gaby Aghion, here is the best of October.
Who: Longchamp
What: Tribute collection honoring the late American artist Robert Indiana
Where: Online at longchamp.com and in Longchamp stores

With Indiana’s iconic “LOVE” messaging printed and embossed in varying sizes and colors on Longchamp’s signature Le Pliage bag, the capsule evokes a universal message of positivity and acts as a tribute to Indiana’s artistic legacy.

Where: Online at therealreal.com
Why: The RealReal is known for its impressive collection of luxury brands available at a fraction of the price; now, it’s introducing a brand-new shoppable category. “Rare Finds” boasts—you guessed it—hard-to-find vintage collectibles, like this Alaïa gown from the fall 1988 collection designed for the late Tina Turner. Why: A great collaboration requires a critical understanding of both brands’ unique identities, and as the former artistic director of Moncler, Palm Angels’ Francesco Ragazzi knows the brand like the back of his hand. For his latest collection for the French label, Ragazzi reinterpreted the classic Moncler jacket through the preppy Palm Angels lens, infusing the puffed-up silhouettes with varsity letterman motifs and cable-knit sweaters—all harkening back to the vintage, Americana-inspired archetypes that continue to drive his work.

On creating his first-ever handbag, Rossi said exclusively to ELLE.com that “when designing the Valì, I was inspired by the suitcases I once used to transport my collections around the world. My creations are my most cherished objects, so I designed a miniature version of those suitcases for my customers to carry their most precious objects.” Pick between violet, tan, black, or white for your new go-to travel bag—daily travel, that is.

Why: It’s been almost a year since we’ve heard from Kerby Jean-Raymond of Pyer Moss, but much to his fan base’s delight, he’s back in action. His namesake brand has released its latest collaboration with outerwear giant Canada Goose, rooted in the idea of “luxury performance”—the marriage of Raymond’s high-end, streetwear aesthetic with Canada Goose’s promise of warmth and functionality. “These pieces are a new take on the dynamic style that I grew up with in Brooklyn, reimagined in a way that they can be worn anywhere from urban adventures to expeditions in the wild,” the designer said in a statement.

Who: Brunello Cucinelli
What: Exclusive fall capsule collection

Inspired by Solomeo, a medieval hamlet in central Italy and the location of the house’s HQ, the collection marries classic shapes, cozy textures, and structured tailoring. The beauty is in the pairings, which can be dressed up or down. “This capsule merged the ideals of elegance that we seek out here in Solomeo, Italy, with the taste and ambiance that characterize New York,” Cucinelli himself says.
Who: Stetson and Ray’s
What: Limited-edition hat
Where: Online at stetson.com
Why: In what’s perhaps the most fitting collaboration ever, Stetson has linked up with Ray’s, the divey, western-inspired Lower East Side watering hole co-owned by Justin Theroux and Carlos Quirarte, on a limited-edition hat that riffs on the brand’s signature Open Road 6x design. Appropriately dubbed the “Raygular” Edition, each hat in the classic silverbelly color features a “Raygular” pin that will earn you a free beer and a shot every time you wear it to their bar. For the two friends and business partners, the inspiration was wholesome: “Just our love of hats,” Quirarte tells ELLE.com, before cheekily adding, “But also the idea that, if Justin were actually his character from Romy and Michele’s High School Reunion, this is the hat he would wear.” Consider this your Post-it note reminder to grab this exclusive drop before it’s gone.
Who: Loro Piana
What: Cocooning collection
Where: Online at loropiana.com
Why: There’s finally a chill in the air (at least on the East Coast), and Loro Piana is ready to dress you for the colder months with its not-so-quiet take on everyday luxury. Yes, the third cocooning collection is chock-full of neutrals and pieces that don’t scream like brights do, but each garment is exceptionally made and will definitely turn heads, even if you’re just running errands in this velvet and silk maxi dress. The best part? The line now includes pieces for men, so your holiday shopping spree just got a little easier to navigate.
Who: A.P.C. and JW Anderson
What: Collaborative capsule
Where: Online at matchesfashion.com, apc.com, and jwanderson.com
Why: Jonathan Anderson is definitely the busiest man in fashion. His latest collaboration is with French wardrobe experts A.P.C., who for the last few years have invited brands from Sacai to Lacoste to create “Interactions,” or collaborative capsules. This is the 20th release, and Anderson’s jumping off point was Joseph Beuys. Taking cues from “I Love America and America Loves Me,” Anderson has reimagined wardrobe basics in his own way, including the fun run of neon totes that are sure to last you dozens of seasons.
