Who: John Hardy

What: Reimagined New York store

Where: 118 Prince Street, New York City

Why: John Hardy’s new direction under Reed Krakoff is positively refreshing, with a bold new take on the classic woven pieces fans of the brand know and love. To commemorate this change, the Soho store has been renovated and given a breath of new life, with a bold marigold and yellow color palette and Balinese artwork. The two new collections, Spear and Surf, are available to purchase, plus a tea bar in the back for when you need a quick refresher. “I wanted to honor the essence of John Hardy’s foundational designs, fusing the brand’s rich Balinese heritage with a contemporary vision,” Krakoff exclusively tells ELLE.com. “The reimagination of our flagship store was conceived through the same perspective. Our goal was to create an immersive environment that offers our clients the best of the new brand vision as well as the enduring legacy of craftsmanship that has always defined our brand.”
