Studies show that students who are content and feel a sense of belonging in their school community have a more effective learning experience. Tied to a unit on nutrition, Fieldston Lower’s 1st Grades students recently engaged in the “My World” project, which asked them to teach one another about their family cultures and home communities through food.

Two teams of Fieldston Upper’s Engineering Club students recently competed in the National Rube Goldberg Machine Competition, with the 10th Graders’ “Rubenheimer” machine winning the People’s Choice Award and the 11th Graders’ “Pirate” machine becoming high school national champions!
