Rita Mary Sullivan OBITUARY

Rita Mary Sullivan of Concord passed away peacefully at home April 7, 2024 at the age of 81. Rita was born in 1942 to parents Tom McCall and Rita Mary Tyter McCall in San Francisco. Rita is preceded in death by her parents, Her two brothers Tom McCall and Dave McCall (spouse Nell) Her husband of 24 years Mike Sullivan and her son-in-law Joe Lumbert. She is survived by her Children Shannon Lumbert (spouse Joe), Michael Sullivan (spouse Karin) and Brian Sullivan (spouse Kelly). Her Grandchildren Meghan Peters (spouse Mike), Sydney Immel, Olivia Immel, Avery Sullivan, Annabelle Sullivan, and Charlie Sullivan. Her Great Grandson Michael Peters. Many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, Nephews and Nieces. Rita was third generation San Franciscan and grew up in Eureka Valley. She Attended Most Holy Redeemer Grammar School, St Paul’s and Notre Dame High Schools. Rita and her Husband Mike raised their family in Concord. She instilled a love of sports in her children and would often be seen cheering them on, rarely missing a game. Rita was also an active member of A.A. She will be missed by many, always with an encouraging word or funny quip. Always loving and kind. Funeral Mass will be held July 5th, 11 am at St Agnes Catholic Church 3966 Chestnut Ave. Concord
