Dolores Bertolosso OBITUARY

Dolores Louise Bertolosso, 92, passed away early Saturday, June 29, 2024, in Walnut Creek, Calif.Dolores was born on Feb, 8, 1932, in Patterson, Calif., to John Bertolosso Jr. and Noemi Marie (Maioli) Bertolosso.She graduated from Patterson High School in 1949, then obtained her bachelor’s degree from San Jose State College and began her 37-year career as a physical education teacher. Most of her career was teaching and coaching at Piedmont High School in Piedmont, Calif. In her four years at Patterson High School, Dolores participated in Student Council, Commercial Club, and Pep Club. She also played basketball, was a yell leader, and was a member of the California Scholastic Federation. In college, Dolores was a member and president of Chi Omega sorority.She was an avid fan of all of San Francisco’s professional and college sports teams.Dolores is survived by her sister, Carol Stamenson of Walnut Creek, Calif., her brother Norman Bertolosso of Modesto, Calif., and nieces Jenny Stamenson of Seattle, Wash., Sandra Everett of Sonoma, Calif., and Hellen Willhide, Terri Parker, and Michele Bertolero, all of Modesto.In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Richard Bertolosso, her niece LouAnn Bertolosso, and nephews Aaron and Casey Bertolosso.The Neptune Society of Northern California is in charge of arrangements. There will be no public services.
