Born in San Francisco and raised in Hercules, delos Santos freelanced with the Bay Area News Group in 2019 and 2020 before covering the Pittsburgh Pirates as a beat reporter for MLB.com in 2022 and 2023. He is a proud Filipino American and holds a BA degree from UC Berkeley with a double major in Asian American and Asian Diaspora Studies & Media Studies with a Journalism minor.
