Hey! I’m Darwin! Seeking an adorably dorky biologist kitty? Adopt me and let’s study the world together! My playful spirit and energy make every day an exciting expedition. I love chasing feather toys, climbing to new heights and discovering hidden treasures (like catnip). When the day’s adventures are done, I’ll curl up next to you, purring contentedly. Visit the website of the Berkeley-East Bay Humane Society at berkeleyhumane.org to learn more and schedule a meeting with me.

Sweet senior cat Kiki is a loving companion who enjoys the best of both worlds: attention and gentle affection from her favorite humans, plus peaceful solitude. This 11-year-old tortoiseshell cat has a sassy streak to go with her deeply loving nature. Kiki has been with us for more than two months.

Come meet her at our Dublin Adoption Center today! The East Bay SPCA offers walk-in adoptions at its Oakland and Dublin campuses from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday. For updated and real-time information on programs and offerings, visit eastbayspca.org/adoptions.

Sasha may be a big, floofy husky, but she’s also rather cat-like in her ways. The 7-year-old can be friendly, but she’s usually aloof. Sasha kind of likes people, though she doesn’t like to be touched much. Once she knows you, she will tolerate belly rubs. Sasha loves her toys but does NOT want to share them. Sweet and sassy, Sasha is looking for a quiet home where she can reign supreme. To meet this pet at Friends of the Alameda Animal Shelter, call 510-337-8565 or visit alamedaanimalshelter.org/adopt.

These two sisters are 6-month-old gray tabbies. They have two brothers, Beau and Sprig. Thunder is the funniest, White Cloud is the sweetest. They all play, well, just like kittens. Mama was hit by a car and they were found when they were 3 days old. One of our fosters bottle fed them and they have thrived. They do not need to be adopted together. For more information about this or any other adoptable pets with the Contra Costa SPCA, call Pat at 925-323-0667.
