Hi, I’m Arnold! I’m a 6-year-old domestic shorthair with a flair for stealing hearts! My favorite activities include chin scratches, cozy cuddles and showing off my purr-fect purrs. I’m being treated for allergies at Berkeley Humane and will need continued care in my new home. Feel free to ask if you have any questions! Visit the website of the Berkeley-East Bay Humane Society at berkeleyhumane.org to learn more and schedule a meeting with me.

Senior softy Dragon is as sweet as they come. This 8-year-old, salt-and-pepper pup exudes calm, though is always enthusiastic about time with his friends.

Dragon is a people person and loves to join in whatever activity is on the schedule. He’s happy to walk, lounge around at home, catch treats in the air and explore new places — as long as there are slobbery kisses for you at the end. He loves to show he cares. The East Bay SPCA offers walk-in adoptions at its Oakland and Dublin campuses from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday. For updated and real-time information on programs and offerings, visit eastbayspca.org/adoptions.

Theodora is a beautiful 2-month-old kitten in need of a forever home. She and three equally pretty kitty siblings are spayed/neutered and seeking laps and love. It’s kitten season in a big way, and we have about a dozen kittens as we write this, with more coming down the pike after being fostered since a very young age. You can see some of the kittens on our adoptable cats page. To meet this pet at Friends of the Alameda Animal Shelter, call 510-337-8565 or visit alamedaanimalshelter.org/adopt.

Mr. Vader Pascal (a.k.a. Vader) is a smashingly-good-looking kitten (can’t you tell?). He’s a spicy 4-month-old orangesicle who loves to play. His best home would be with another roughhouse loving cat. Vader’s good with all cats though. He’s affectionate and loves to hang out with and lay on his fosters lap, feet, etc. For more information about this or any other adoptable pets with the Contra Costa SPCA, call Kim at 925-435-4161.
