NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Durango City Council will conduct a public hearing on Tuesday July 16th, 2024 during the regular Council Meeting scheduled for 5:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers of City Hall, 949 Second Avenue. Said public hearing is to consider a request from Black Hills Energy to relocate two gas pipelines at the Durango-La Plata County Airport in order to accommodate the new DRO Airport Expansion Project. The proposal is compatible with the Strategic Plan goal of Reliable Infrastructure & Community Connectivity. Alternative options will be addressed in the staff report and documentation for the public hearing. Alternative actions include the option to continue or deny the proposal.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the public is invited to attend and present written and/or oral testimony regarding this proposal. Written comments (or emailed comments which can be sent to PublicComment@durangoco.gov) from those who cannot attend but want their opinions considered in Council’s deliberations must be received by noon on Monday

Notice of Lost Stock Certificate
The H.H. Ditch Company (“the Company”) received the following notice of lost stock certificates and a demand for issuance of duplicate stock certificates on May 24, 2024. On or after July 12, 2024, the Company will issue duplicate certificates to Lisa M. Pederson unless contrary claim is filed within the Company prior to July 12, 2024.

I, Lisa M. Pederson, as the sole living descendent named by Brice F. Lee in his Last Will and Testament, represent and warrant that the following H.H. Ditch Stock Certificates are my property: Stock Certificate #303 for 60 Class A shares, Stock Certificate #30 for 24 Class D shares, Stock Certificate # 512 for 133 Class B shares, and Stock Certificate #142 for 15 Class B-82 shares. These shares were issued on December 16, 1994 to Naomi Y. Griffith Mortgagee, Brice F. Lee Jr and Phyllis J. Lee as equity owners. I further represent and warrant that said certificates have been lost, mislaid, or destroyed, and that I have not conveyed, assigned, transferred, or pledged said certificates, or the share (s) represented thereby, to anyone. I demand the Company issue duplicate stock certificates in accordance with C.R.S. § 7-42-114 and 115, after publication in the local newspaper as required by said statutes.
