See “Schedule Section” below for more information.
Did you know the intersection of University/Lincoln and Quebec was built more than 40 years ago? Now, the concrete has reached the end of its useful life, and Douglas County is improving road quality and safety at the intersection. A project to rebuild and reconfigure the full intersection includes new concrete, a new traffic signal system, raised pedestrian safety islands, an additional eastbound and westbound lane on Lincoln Avenue and University Boulevard, and a new right-turn-only lane from southbound Quebec Street to westbound University Boulevard.
Construction on this $13 million project is expected to be completed in early fall 2024.
