This new short course provides an introduction to the CCW and its Protocols, discussing its objectives and purpose and the conventional weapons it regulates and how. The course also introduces the intergovernmental machinery that governs the CCW’s implementation, compliance and development in line with emerging weapons technologies.

MoreResolution 1540 (2004) is a legally binding instrument which obligates UN Member States to refrain from providing any form of support to non-State actors, in particular terrorists, from acquiring, proliferating and using nuclear, chemical and biological weapons, their means of delivery and related materials. This advanced online training course provides an in-depth introduction into the topic through six thematic modules delivered in an interactive manner. The course is now available in Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian and Spanish.
