Update, January 3, 2020 3:58 p.m.: It looks like this massive Reese's cake is still out and available in stores and now it's been spotted at Walmart.
Instagrammer @foodymama found it in her local Walmart, much to the delight of Reese's fans everywhere. To recap, the cake is made up of "chocolate ice cream with chunks of Reese's peanut butter cups, and a layer of Reese's peanut butter, whipped icing, and chocolate drizzle."
All this to say, it's worth taking a peek in the freezer section of your local Walmart! Especially if you couldn't find this near you before.
Original, May 8, 2019 3:34 p.m.: The only thing better than a perfect (and preferably refrigerated) Reese's? A GIANT Reese's Ice Cream cake. Which yep, exists and may already be at your grocery store. Rich Products Corporation has released a new frozen dessert filled with ice cream and peanut butter whipped frosting. It's also smothered in Hershey's chocolate sauce and has an entire layer of Reese's Peanut Butter Cups smack dab in the center.
"We can’t think of a better way to kick off ice cream season than with this new cake innovation for Reese’s lovers," marketing manager Kimberly O’Brien said in a press release. "The new Reese’s Ice Cream Cake combines everything we love: chocolate, peanut butter and ice cream for a dessert worth indulging in!"
According to People, the cake, which serves up to 12 people FYI, is retailing for $15.99 at several grocery stores across the country—including Publix, ShopRite, Giant Martin’s, Giant Landover and Food Lion. So you might want to check your freezer aisle! THEY ARE HERE.
If you need even more chocolate-y, peanut butter perfection (May 18 is I Love Reese's Day, after all), then you might want to stock up on the brand's limited-edition Peanut Butter Lovers and Chocolate Lovers. That's right, Reese's has altered the ratio to give fans more of the flavors they love. Talk about a dream come true.
