Three Philadelphia Phillies were named starters on Wednesday night for the National League in the 2024 Major League Baseball All-Star Game.

First baseman Bryce Harper, third baseman Alec Bohm and shortstop Trea Turner were named NL starters by fan voting. The last time the Phillies had three infield starters in the All-Star Game was 1982 when Pete Rose, Mike Schmidt and Manny Trillo were starters.

Harper, who was the National League's top vote-getter, earned his eighth All-Star selection. However, the first baseman is on the injured list, putting his availability in question. Harper is hitting .303 with 20 homers and 58 RBIs.

Turner earned his third All-Star selection. The shortstop entered Wednesday night's game against the Chicago Cubs hitting .338 with five home runs, 18 RBIs and 10 steals in 46 games.

Third baseman Alec Bohm will be making his first All-Star appearance. He entered Wednesday's game hitting .297 with 10 homers and 68 RBIs.

The Phillies could have more players make the All-Star roster. The pitchers and reserves will be named at 5:30 p.m. Sunday.

The All-Star Game is Tuesday, July 16, in Arlington, Texas.
