Baja Bob’s is now open on the boardwalk in Rehoboth Beach.

The 101 South Boardwalk restaurant offers nine types of tacos, burritos, rice bowls, salads and a full bar. It’s a “casual dining experience,” owner Robert Frankis said, open 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.

He expects about 70% of Baja Bob’s business to be takeout, he said at a Rehoboth Beach commissioners meeting, which will be served through a takeout window. The about 3,400 square-foot restaurant seats about 100 people including bar seats.

Frankis, an Ocean Pines, Maryland, resident, also owns Above the Dunes restaurant, just “above” Baja Bob’s, he said, as well as the now-closed Playland arcade, which was located where Baja Bob's is now.
