John H. Nichols, 86 of Chestertown, MD passed away on July 6, 2024.
He was a graduate of William Penn High School and served in the U.S. Army from 1962-1964. John owned and operated Nichols Pool Supply.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Constance and brothers, Charles and William Nichols.
John is survived by his children, John J. Nichols, Grace M. Eyler and Tara J. Hopkins (Jeffrey); sister Lavonne Carden (Jack); grandchildren, K Skye Rittenberry (Joseph), Jenna Hopkins and Scott Hopkins; and great grandchildren Raina Skye, Joseph, Rosalee and Ricky.
A visitation will be held July 20, 2024 from 10-11 with a memorial service at 11 at Galena Funeral Home of Stephen L. Schaech, 118 W. Cross St. Galena, MD. A luncheon to follow at 223 Katherine Dr, Dover, DE.
