Police made an arrest after finding a woman fatally shot early Tuesday in Far Northeast Dallas, officials say.
At about 2:45 a.m., officers responded to a shooting call in the 11500 block of Plano Road, police say. When they arrived, they found a woman in a parking lot who had been shot. She died at the scene.
The Dallas County medical examiner’s office identified the victim as Crystal Daniels, 41.
Later Tuesday, police arrested Yons Alshabli, 32, on a murder charge in connection with the killing.

Alshabi’s bond is set at $1 million, according to jail records. It was not immediately clear if he had an attorney.
