The 62-year-old has pledged to hit the gym every day after signing up to a punishing daily bootcamp-style workout routine to tone his body.

Each backbreaking session involves sweating through 1,000 sit-ups and press-up.

He hopes it’ll leave him looking “ripped” for the cameras and comparable to the young pro dancers.

The energetic Italian choreographer has also started pumping iron.

The weight-lifting sessions are part of his mission to get back in shape after piling on the pounds over the summer.

He revealed he does “over 1,000 sit-ups a day”.

The dance expert confessed: “I have to start my day with this workout as I am getting older and rounder.”

Bruno revealed: “I am getting loads of compliments already.”

The Italian Stallion is not the onlyj udge worried about staying in shape this series.

In an Instagram post paying tribute to her personal trainer, head judge Shirley Ballas said: “A huge thank you to Suraj Samra Fitness for setting my goals with me six weeks ago and seeing them through.”
