Fans of Warrington Wolves couldn't believe their eyes as youngster Josh Thewlis and Lucas Green failed to name a host of iconic individuals, items and technology from late 1990s to early 2000s.
Both born after the year 2000, Thewlis and Green showed their age when asked by the social media team to name things off the list.
Individuals, items and technology featured, with Oasis, teletext and a floppy disc amongst the things the pair couldn't name. But their challenge got off to a disastrous start immediately when the duo failed to recognise Mr Blobby.
The spotted pink character first featured on Noel's House Party back in 1992, becoming well known for his infamous voice that certainly left some children terrified.

First up was Thewlis, who said: "What it is or who it is, I have no idea. Uh, some sort of kids cartoon? Honestly I don't know. No idea."
Green then added his input, bluntly saying: "No idea." The pair clearly looked bemused by the all pink and yellow bow-tied character.

And fans were quick to let the pair and the club know just how old they felt in the wake of Thewlis and Green's naming inability.
One fan wrote: "S**t. I knew I was old but I didn’t think I was that old!" A second added: "Jesus Christ admin I wouldn’t have posted this."
A third commented: "Don’t know which one is worse… Blobby or Oasis." A fourth said: "Wow. Mr Blobby is a national treasure." A fifth also wrote: "Oh God, I'm old!"
Amongst the other things the pair failed to name was the popular TV show Gladiators, a Tamagotchi and former Labour Prime Minister Tony Blair.
However, thankfully, the pair did manage to name Warrington's former ground Wilderspool, which was demolished back in 2014.
