Artificial Intelligence has put together the perfect F1 driver.
Since the motorsport's birth in 1950, 34 racers have gone on to lift the whole competition. Michael Schumacher and Lewis Hamilton are among the greats with a record seven world championships each, while Max Verstappen of Red Bull will soon be bringing up the rear.
Taking into account the characteristics of the winning cars and drivers over the last 74 years, AI thinks it has nailed down what the ultimate driver would look like. Many will be surprised to hear their perfect racer is British.

Jardine Motors Group asked Midjourney to design the perfect driver who would dominate F1. After taking into account the characteristics of every driver to win the world championship, they churned out a blond Brit who drives for Ferrari.
It believes this driver would stand at 1.76 metres (5' 8") - the average height of all former champions. This considers drivers at both ends of the scale, ranging from pocket rocket four-time winner Alain Prost 1.67m (5'4") to 1958 British champion Mike Hawthorn who stood at 1.81m tall (5'10").
What do you think are the physical and mental characteristics of the ultimate F1 driver? Let us know in the comment section below
Over the last 30 years, F1 has seen a German, a Brit, a Finn, a Canadian, a Brazilian and a Dutchman win the world title. Previous winners have also hailed from Italy, Argentina, South Africa, Australia, the United States, Austria and France.
Yet, AI thinks the ultimate driver would be a Brit, as it is the country with the most title and champions. There have been 10 F1 world champions to hail from Britain, including Hamilton, Jackie Stewart, James Hunt and Jenson Button.
The aforementioned driver would also be 30-years-old. While Verstappen's youthful age goes against the grain, on average, most F1 world champions win their first title at the age of 30. Sebastian Vettel is the youngest to win, having done so at 23 in 2010, while legendary Italian driver Giuseppe Farina won the first ever F1 world championship at 44, all the way back in 1950.
Despite their struggles, AI believes the ultimate driver would be behind the wheel of a Ferrari car. The iconic team may have gone 17 years without a championship, but they are still top of the world championship list, with a record 15 drivers titles.
