Lily Collins looks completely different after sharing a horrifying new video.
The Emily In Paris actress recently took to Instagram to share a clip from her trailer while on set for Maxxxine. The 35-year-old prepared for her role as Molly Bennett with the special effects team, who covered her face with pads and makeup to appear as though she had been burned.
As Collins showed the final product, Lily raised her eyebrows to show off the bright red “wound” that stretched from her forehead, eyebrows and ears down her cheek, chin and neck, finally stopping on her chest.

The painful-looking red skin, which was created using SFX makeup, was interlaced with branches of black that looked like veins running through her skin. The Hollywood star couldn’t resist recording herself throughout the ordeal and later uploaded it to social media, where her shocked fans shared their thoughts.
In the caption, Lily wrote: “GRWM - @maxxxinemovie edition. Major props to the glam and prosthetics teams for getting all of us slasher ready…” as fans gathered in the comment section to share their thoughts on her gruesome display.
One person said: “Hahah, I thought this was for Emily In Paris at first and was like: ‘WHAT DID THEY DO TO HER IN THE SHOW!!’ [laughing emoji].” Someone else jokingly asked “what happened to Emily” while a third person wrote “ouchie”.
“Whew…for a second, I thought Emily In Paris was taking a dark turn,” read another comment. “Another iconic pop culture project you’ve been a part [of,] loving this,” said someone else.
One fan gushed “what an interesting job you have,” while one follower said that the actress had done a “great job” and that they were “proud of her”. More people flooded her comment section with red hearts, flames and heart-eyed emojis while watching Lily’s special effects video.
Maxxxine is a 2024 horror film starring Mia Goth, Halsey, Lily Collins, Elizabeth Debicki, Sophie Thatcher, Moses Sumney and Kevin Bacon. The description reads: “In 1980s Hollywood, adult film star and aspiring actress Maxine Minx finally gets her big break. However, as a mysterious killer stalks the starlets of Los Angeles, a trail of blood threatens to reveal her sinister past.”
