Another death linked to penthouse plunge tycoon Scot Young as it is revealed he worked for Scottish publican drowned in Majorca

YOUNG, who died after falling 60ft on to railings outside London penthouse, once worked for wealthy Dundee licensee Alex Brown whose body was found near his luxury yacht in Port de Soller in 2006.

DEATH plunge property tycoon Scot Young once worked for a pub boss found drowned in Majorca.

Young died on December 8 after he fell 60ft on to railings from his London penthouse flat.

We can reveal that Young was a friend and associate of wealthy Dundee licensee Alex Brown, 60, whose body was found near his luxury yacht in Port de Soller on the Spanish holiday island in 2006.

Though his cause of death was given as drowning, police also probed claims from Brown’s family that he may have been murdered after he was seen arguing with a man on the harbour’s edge.

The publican is among six former Young associates who have died in mysterious circumstances the past 10 years.

Brown, a former casino manager with Reo Stakis, ran some of Dundee’s most successful pubs and clubs in the 80s and 90s, including McGonagall’s, Cafe American and Jacques nightclub.

Little was known about Young, 52, until his wife Michelle launched a £400million divorce action against him in 2009.

But an investigation by the Sunday Mail has uncovered details of his early life in Dundee – including his links to Brown.
