If you're tired of misplacing your car keys or losing your luggage on the airport carousel, Bluetooth trackers are becoming the must-have devices to keep tabs on your personal belongings.

With so many to choose from, one journalist put a selection of the Bluetooth powered trackers to see which one they found best. From mobile phones to luggage, the device works with phones so you can always know where your bits are.

Mirror Reporter Harriet Morphy-Morris tracked six different suitcases containing different air tags while travelling to France - and the one that came on top is currently reduced on Amazon.

Pitting the Apple AirTag, which are sold in packs of four for £94 against £15.99 Tile's counterpart, she claims the former is the best thanks to its innovated software.

Read below for her full thoughts, as reported by the Mirror.

On a trip with a large group of friends, I wanted to ensure all our cases arrived at our destination, and if they didn't, I wanted to know exactly where they had been misplaced. So, I put Apple AirTags and a leading competitor, Tile Tag, to the test to see which tracker is the best for travel.

Apple's pack of four AirTags emerged victorious, outperforming the slimmer Tile tracker with superior notifications, tracking, and no in-app purchases required once you've purchased the device. Now, the very same ones I used are on sale at Amazon.

The Prime retailer has slashed the price of the four-pack from £119 to £94, equating to just £23.50 per AirTag - for comparison, an individual pack costs £29 at John Lewis.

But why are they worth investing in, compared to the much cheaper £15.99 Tile Tag?

Thanks to its sleek in-app experiences, precise notifications and the ability to find it on another Apple device (if you share the same Apple ID that is). Apple users may already be familiar with the 'Find My' app and the AirTag is tracked here very similarly if you were to look for a lost phone on the 'Find My iPhone' days.

Tech deal of the week

For some of us, wireless earbuds are a daily essential - but they often come with a hefty price tag.

Luckily, we've found a pair of Wireless Earbuds for less than £20 that shoppers say rival both Apple and Beats- the Anker Soundcore P20i True Wireless Earbuds.

For just £19.98, the Anker Earbuds boast 10mm drivers that deliver powerful sound, plus up to 40 hours of battery life with a fully charged case. Compact and lightweight, they slip easily into your pocket and come complete with a clip on lanyard.

With over 5,000 pairs bought in the last month, shoppers are raving about the Anker Soundcore P20i True Wireless Earbuds.

One reviewer wrote: "Apple need to up their game these are amazing for a fraction of the price."

Another buyer said: "Better bass and sound quality than my Beats Flex! I will never pay big prices again."

Sleek and modern, you can also find the Anker Earbuds in blue, pink and white. To snag the coveted Anker Soundcore P20i True Wireless Earbuds for less than £20, head to Amazon now.

Tile also has an app but instead of opening it up and seeing the location of the tracker straight away (like with the AirTag) you have to click 'location history". Having used both apps in the chaos of an airport, Apple's software was far easier to use....and that's what you'd want in a situation if you had lost say a handbag or car keys.

Another significant factor is price. Once you've paid for a pack or individual AirTag you won't face any other costs; free app and no cost to look at the history. Tile charges an extra £2.99 a month or £29.99 a year for features which can be done for free on the AirTag.

Apple's trackable gadgets may be more expensive initially (only £10 more if buying an individual pack) but shoppers can be assured they won't be asked to pay more when tracking or looking for notifications.

Samsung also offers its own version of the tracker with its £34 Galaxy Tag, while newer brand Chipolo has just launched a product - a trackable wallet finder. Unlike the keychain trackers, this is specifically designed to slip into your purse and hide among your debit and credit cards - if you lose it you'll have its location to hand.
