Her outing comes after actress Tabitha Brown hit back at her for criticizing her decision to support her husband Chance Brown so he can retire from the Los Angeles Police Department following 15-years on the job.

Brown utilized the 'kill 'em with kindness' tactic during a recent Instagram Live, all while oozing a mature confidence to her demeanor and smooth voice.

On Thursday's episode of The Wendy Williams Show, the star referred to her failed marriage to Kevin Hunter when she made her case for Brown to rethink her position.

'I was married to one of those. 'I make the money!' and so on and so forth. 'Go live your dreams! Open a business! Go, go, go!' See how that turned out,' the mother-of-one said of her marriage to Hunter, which ended in divorce in 2020.

'They may invest in stuff and lose the money,' Williams explained.

'Then they invest again and he comes home and throws his bag down. She's like 'What? What?' And he's like, 'I can't do this and this is your fault. You're over here making your money and stuff and had me quit my job.''

After friends of Brown, 42, filled her in on Williams' bold assessment and prediction of her marriage, the actress decided to respond directly.

Supportive: Brown, 42, used a healthy dose of maturity and confidence when explaining that her husband supported her quest to become a successful actress, so she's is now paying it forward to allow him to follow his dream and passion

'First of all, Wendy Williams, God bless you. God bless you,' she said while looking straight into the camera with a big beaming smile.

'Wendy, the pain you must be in to feel this way, honey, I'm so sorry. But listen, let me tell you this: 23-years I've been with my husband, broke for a very long time together. Struggled for a very long time together. Succeeded for the last couple of years together.'

Oozing confidence, Brown revealed she and her husband made a deal many years ago that his job with the LAPD would help support their union and family while she pursued her dream of being an actress.

'And I know, you may not know what that looks like in a genuine place, right, but this was an agreement that my husband and I had, And I told him 15-years ago, in five-years I was going to be able to take you out of there, so then you can go pursue one of your dreams that you love.'

The North Carolina native continued: 'I was his dog in the fight and he believed in me and we did it together for the last 15 years. I did every year with him in the LAPD and he did every year with me with rejection and now in this entertainment industry.

It's at this point that Brown acknowledged the success she's experienced as an actress with roles on The Chi, All Between Us, and Will & Grace, among others.

'God has blessed me. He has allowed me to manifest. I've been praying on this for a very long time and it has now come to pass,' she explained while heaping praise on God several times over.

While still projecting her infectious calm and relaxed demeanor, Brown offered a prayer for Williams, who in the past has claimed Hunter cheated on her and had a child with another woman.

'I pray that love finds you; true love. I pray that it finds you and holds you tight. I pray that someone will love you enough to see you when you are not well, to see when you need true support, to see you when you need compassion, to see you when you need kindness,' she said with genuine concern to her voice.

'I pray that somebody loves you enough to sacrifice their life for you. I pray that type of love finds you so that you can understand why I don't want my husband to put his life on the line anymore, wearing a bulletproof vest if he don't have to, and if it's not his desire.'

Brown added, 'Let us all pray for people like Miss Wendy and others who have been so hurt or never found a genuine love that fills their heart with so much compassion and joy. Let us all pray that hey find that and that it finds them.'

She concluded with what appeared to be an indirect message to Williams.

'I want y'all to go about your business, okay, and have the most amazing day, But even if you can't have a good one, don't you dare go messing up nobody else's.
