The trailer begins with an On Air sign flashing red, as Williams tells her listeners, 'It's your girl Wendy Williams on the mic. I am here to stay.'
'Wendy Williams is not going anywhere,' she says in the studio, as she's seen walking through the office with a skintight mini-dress flaunting her curves, walking through a graphic that reads, 'Trailblazer.'
'I'm gonna come in like a hurricane,' she adds, before the trailer cuts to segments from her show, where she asks Whitney Houston if she's 'still using drugs.'

She ultimately moved from the radio airwaves to the TV airwaves, getting her own talk show as she's seen walking onto the set.
Williams is then seen interacting with Hunter on the street, who tells her she's a 'star' which clearly gets her attention.
She is also seen telling a board room that she is, 'going to tell it like it is,' as her star continues to rise.

Her life starts to crumble though as she tells Hunter that she 'trusts' him to take care of the business side of things, but he's not too pleased with her.
'You're self-indulgent, you're narcissistic, you've got a coke habit,' he says, as Williams is seen collapsing while wearing a Statue of Liberty costume.
She's heard saying, 'He's having a baby with her,' indicating the biopic (which Williams herself helped produce) includes rather current events.
