Kate Ritchie gets behind charity supporting women and teenage girls experiencing homelessness
Kate Ritchie has used her star power to show her support for an Australian charity.
On Thursday, the 42-year-old shared a selfie to Instagram that showed a pink handbag and a slew of items spread on a table behind her.
Among the products displayed were skincare, makeup and hygiene products, which she revealed she would be donating to women's charity, Share The Dignity.

'Share The Dignity is asking Australians to spare a thought for the women and teenage girls experiencing homelessness, sleeping rough or seeking refuge in domestic violence shelters at Christmas,' she wrote in the caption.
The former Home and Away star added: 'I'm supporting their #itsinthebag campaign by donating handbags filled with essential hygiene products and a few other extra treats.'
She encouraged her 316,000 followers to also take part in the charity drive and drop off donations at their local Bunnings store.

Kate's act of charity comes after she urged her fans to help their community by donating blood.
The mother-of-one - who shares a daughter Mae, six, with former NRL star husband Stuart Webb - posted a photo of herself flexing her arm and showing off a limited edition artisan-made bandage.
She explained in her caption: 'If 2020 has left you feeling as though you'd like to "do more" within the community why not join me in rolling up our sleeves and donating blood?

'They are thanks to some talented Aussie artists who hope to shine a colourful spotlight on blood donation,' she added.
Kate concluded: 'You can get yours as of today at donor centres across the country... All the while knowing that you're doing an awesome deed!'
