Back with a vengeance! The Block's all-stars set to make a comeback to the renovation series to mentor current  contestants to victory

This season of The Block has already had its fair share of shocks, scandals, and tears.

And now, the Blockheads are set to face their biggest surprise yet.

According to the Herald Sun, several fan favourites will make a comeback on next week's show to help this season's contestants with their guest bedrooms.  

Among the lineup of former contestants who will be buddied up with this year's Blockheads is 2017's season 13 winners, Josh and Elyse.

Since winning the show and taking home a whopping $547,000 cash prize, they have started a business J & E Projects and Elyse became a Myer ambassador.

Also set to make an appearance next week is Western Australian couple Ronnie and Georgia, who also featured on season 13 of the franchise. 

After appearing on The Block, the pair created an online renovation series called Quick Room Flips with Ronnie and Georgia. 

Former Collingwood footballer Darren Jolly and his wife Deanne, who appeared on season nine of The Block, will also stop by to lend a hand to this year's contestants.

The Melbourne couple snagged a massive $935,000 prize after their property sold for $2.29million, and they have been flipping properties across the state ever since. 

Twins Alisa and Lysandra, who took home the trophy in 2013, only to return again and compete in Fans v Faves in 2014, will also provide advice to one lucky team.

The former police officers have since traded their badges for a career in interior design and now operate the online series The Design Duo.

Another dynamic pair who will be making a comeback next week is Josh and Jenna, who famously got engaged during their time on season four of The Block in 2011.
