She rose to fame playing Sally Fletcher on Seven's hit drama series Home And Away - a role that she kept for 20 years.
And on Thursday, Kate Ritchie reflected on her time on the soap after walking away from Summer Bay a decade ago.
Taking to Instagram, the 39-year-old actress turned radio-host said she will always look back fondly on that big chapter in her life, calling the experience 'formative' and 'beautiful'.

'It was 10 years ago yesterday that Sally Fletcher packed her bags after twenty years, said goodbye to Mr Stewart and left the shores of Summer Bay,' she said.
'It always fills my heart with warmth and security to reflect on this beautiful and formative chapter of my life. Thank you @channel7 @homeandaway.'
The clip was a short snippet from her final Home And Away promo.

In it, Kate was seen reflecting on the beach while a montage of clips from her 20 years years was played, with Colbie Caillat's track Bubbly heard in the background.
Former co-star Ray Meagher, who plays Alf Stewart, recently gushed over the beauty, calling her a 'such a nice kid'.
He told TV WEEK: 'Kate's a delightful kid, for a start. Well, she's not a kid anymore. She was so polite and was such a nice kid.

'Then, when somebody called "Action" she jumped into character. It was fantastic to watch her. And to see her grow up from the age of eight to 28, by the time she left the show which was terrific.'
And although it's only been ten years since the mother of Mae Webb, 3, walked away from the Logie winning drama, the Nova host has changed so much.
Uploading a selfie to the social media site recently, Kate's golden tresses styled in a loosely-tousled fashion were worlds away from her signature brunette locks on the show.
