GIRL ABOUT TOWN: Livia Firth's got the classic look...Mum's dress from the 1960s
No one can accuse environmental campaigner Livia Firth of not leading by example – she has even recycled one of her mother's colourful dresses from the Swinging Sixties.
Livia posted an Instagram photo of herself wearing the groovy design on a night out at Contemporary Art Society Fundraising Gala with her actor husband Colin – and then one of her mother in the same outfit at her own wedding party in 1967.
Livia, 46, is the founder of a fashion initiative called Green Carpet Challenge, which works with fashion icons to promote sustainable style.

The pair also raised £10,000, but they couldn't match Yasmin and Amber Le Bon – mother and daughter pocketed £25,000 from donors including designer Matthew Williamson and chef Heston Blumenthal.
