For her hosting duties, Wendy opened the show in a sequinned silver gown with thigh-high slit.

She accentuated her bust in the sleeveless design with a metallic belt cinched at her waist for even more of a hourglass figure.

The emcee styled her first ensemble with a pair of silver high heels, matching bracelets and oozed sex appeal with a vampy oxblood coloured pout.

Later on, Wendy ditched her bouncy curls for a sleek straight hairstyle with bangs that framed her face.

Keeping with the cleavage theme, she opted to show more of her long legs by changing into a metallic fringe mini dress.

The mother-of-one paired the short frock with glittery slingbacks and studded bracelet set.

But perhaps her most conservative look was when the outfit she walked the red carpet moments before she took the stage.

The star covered up her chest and most of her body in an ombre toned dress that she styled with long dangling earrings.

She showed off her arms in the shimmering maxi and appeared to make her waist smaller by putting her hands on her hips while posing for photographs.

At the star-studded event, which airs in the States on November 30, slew of musicians and artists gathered to celebrate the year in R&B, rap, gospel and soul music.

Chris Brown was one of the night's performers and sang a medley of his greatest hits with a video montage of his past performances in past years award shows played in the background.

The most memorable performance, though, was Lil Kim, Missy Elliott and Da Brat's reunion on stage where the trio sang a remix of the 1997 classic Not Tonight during their homage to 1970s funk legends Kool & The Gang,
