An embattled Justin Timberlake took to the stage in Pennsylvania on Thursday after he seemingly cracked a joke about his recent DWI arrest.

The former boy bander, 43, looked passionate as he stepped out in Hershey Park to perform his next gig as part of his Forget Tomorrow World Tour. 

He appeared unbothered by his recent arrest as he bellowed his throwback hits down a microphone and encouraged the crowd to celebrate the weekend. 

Justin opted for a casual look for his performance as he graced the stage in a T-shirt and some jeans. 

The singer quickly broke out in a sweat during his set as the humid weather challenged Justin's endurance. 

'It's hot,' Justin quipped, wiping at his eyebrow.  

'Whoo, it's hot! But y'all look good tonight! Ready to celebrate this weekend?!', He bellowed into the crowd.

Justin has been under scrutiny ever since his DWI arrest, but the singer appeared to have made light of the legal controversy shortly afterwards.

During his concert in Boston last month, he appeared unfazed by the arrest as he seemingly cracked a joke about the situation. 

In video posted on social media, Justin could be seen asking the crowd: 'Is there anyone here tonight that is driving... nah, just kidding!' The crowd quickly reacted with cheers and laughter.

The joke came just 11 days after Justin was arrested for DWI in The Hamptons.  

He was reportedly 'freaking out' while in custody after his DWI arrest as it is claimed he is struggling with the end of his 'golden boy image.'

Justin was held overnight in police custody after his arrest when leaving a night out with pals at the American Hotel in Sag Harbor.

According to a source for People magazine: 'He was freaking out and stayed up all night when he was in custody.

'He's insisting he only had one drink and it wasn't some wild night out.'

The arrest does not seemed to have impacted his life too gravely as the Social Network star and his wife, Jessica Biel, have already reportedly moved past the incident. 

'They've moved on from the arrest. They have faith in their legal team and continue to focus on work and their family instead,' a source told People. 

This comes as the pop star is reportedly struggling with the end of his 'golden boy image' and feelings that his career is not where he hoped it would be at this point.

Following his arrest for allegedly driving while intoxicated in Sag Harbor earlier last month, sources sad the singer has been having trouble with the lackluster album sales of his sixth record, Everything I Thought It Was, released in March.

'The album didn't do too well, and I don't see Justin getting big acting roles right now,' an insider told Page Six. 'I just think Justin has a bad reputation in Hollywood as a bit of a jerk and a pain in the a**.'

The industry source added: 'He's got a bit of an ego.' 

The father-of-two, who has won more than 10 Grammys since rising to fame as one of the lead vocalists for the boyband NSYNC, has endured a tough year as an artist. 

His latest single, Everything I Thought It Was, marked his first solo release not to hit the number one spot on the charts since his track, Justified, was released in 2002.

Additionally, the sales for his The Forget Tomorrow World Tour have been described as 'lacklustre.'

'His golden boy image is definitely depleted,' the Hollywood insider said of the musician, who was one of the most influential entertainers of the 21st century.

The source acknowledged that 'there have been rumors around Justin's behavior for a long time' and 'maybe the bubble was about to burst and this was the pin that pricked the bubble.' 

'In today's world you have to be really dumb to drink and drive,' the industry insider continued. 'Justin is showing off a side that I don't think a lot of people knew about.' 

While he is best known as a pop singer, Justin has dabbled in acting over the years and was said to have his sights set on an Academy Award nomination for his role in The Social Network back in 2010.

The SexyBack hitmaker ended up getting a nod, five years later, for penning the single Can't Stop the Feeling! for the animated comedy film Trolls.
