Monica Bellucci turned heads in a sheer maxi coat as she held hands with her partner Tim Burton at the 64th Globo d'Oro Awards at Villa Massimo in Rome, Italy.

The Italian-born actress, 59, exuded glamour in an all-black ensemble while cosying up to directing legend Tim Burton, 65, on Wednesday.

Monica was truly the epitome of elegance in the slightly see-through coat while flashing black tights and a dress underneath.

Her head-turning look was toted with also black shades and a leather studded handbag.

The Malena star exuded confidence showing off her ageless complexion and towered herself in a pair of classy strappy heels.

She kept jewellery to a minimum with just a gold choker necklace and a ring.

Monica and the Corpse Bride director looked very smitten with one another, strutting as they arrived at the event.

They held hands while stopping for a quick series of snaps before whisking off inside the annual film event in the Italian capital.

The two lovebirds - who have been firstly romantically linked earlier in February - packed on the PDA even as they took to the red carpet.

Monica kept her glamorous shades on as she smiled graciously under the spotlight.

Meanwhile the Beetlejuice filmmaker couldn't keep his hands off the actress as sweetly leaned on her to stamp her a smooch on the cheek.

Monica - who was previously married to actor Vincent Cassel - and Tim - who was married to star Helena Bonham Carter - were captured enjoying the ceremony in exclusive front row seats.

It was quite the glorious night for the Italian stunner as she was rewarded with a legendary Award To The Career ('Premio Alla Carriera') in her native land.

The Raffle star appeared over the moon as she posed on the red carpet holding the precious gong.

Earlier in the night Monica looked emotional as she took to the stage to accept the prize and thank the people in attendance.

The former model even made some time to stop with dedicated fans outside as she was snapped signing autographs.

Monica finally confirmed their relationship in an interview with Elle France in June 2023, months after they were first linked.

'What I can say... I'm glad I met the man, first of all,' she said. 'It's one of those encounters that rarely happens in life... I know the man, I love him, and now I'm going to meet the director, another adventure begins.'

The model had been shooting Beetlejuice 2 with Burton in London as of late, and gushed about the filmmaker's vision.

'I love Tim,' she continued. 'And I have great respect for Tim Burton.'

Speaking of his work she said: 'I love this dream world where the monsters are kind, like we can turn our darker aspects into something bright, forgiving. Tim Burton's films talk about that a lot.'

Monica and Tim first met 16 years ago but are said to have started dating after seeing one another at the Lumière Film Festival in Lyon in October 2022.

News of their romance emerged the following February, when Paris Match wrote that the couple 'briefly met on the steps of the Palais des Festivals in Cannes in 2006, but it was only sixteen years later, behind the scenes of another festival, that they got closer.'
