Ada Nicodemou suffered an epic gaffe on Tuesday as she shared the recipe for her 'famous chilli and ricotta pasta'.
The Home and Away star, 47, took to Instagram to share a video of herself cooking a pasta dish she 'just made up' when she accidentally mixed up her herbs.
Walking fans through the very simple recipe step-by-step, she told viewers to garnish the pasta with parsley but could be seen using what was obviously basil in her dish.
'Here's how to make my very famous pasta, that I literally just made up, in five minutes,' Ada began the video.
'Obviously boil the water. Put the pasta in the water,' she said while mimicking an Italian accent and pouring a plate of uncooked pasta into boiling water.
The clip later showed Ada chopping cherry tomatoes in preparation before she stirred the pasta to prevent it from 'getting sticky' and then strained it.
'Put in a bit of olive oil. Salt. Chili, depends on how hot you want it. Mix it around. Add ricotta. Tomato... a bit of parsley,' she said.
As she mentioned the final herb of the dish, Ada clearly tore up some basil and sprinkled it over the top instead of using parsley like she said.

Unaware of her mistake in the moment, the actress was forced to add a caption to the video later saying she meant to say she used basil.
It comes just a few weeks after reports said Ada and her co-star boyfriend James Stewart are taking their off-screen romance to the next level.
The TV couple were recently spotted spending a domestic weekend at James' Sydney home, during which they took care of shopping and laundry errands.
Ada and James, 48, have been discussing living arrangements and are believed to be considering moving in together.
Sources reveal the pair are planning their much-anticipated relationship 'hard launch', set for the upcoming Logie Awards.
